A little bit of fancy with a kick-back welcoming feel.

Walk through the gate and up the lavender lined path into our place where we slow down time.

At The Crepe Myrtle we understand everyone’s day and mood is different, so we leave it to you to choose your seat and set your own scene.

Choose from:

  • The front veranda where you can watch the world go by
  • Our back deck adorned with timber, tin and bar stools for that real country feel
  • A cosy tea room with picturesque elements
  • The cafe room watching our espresso machine do its thing
  • The Blue Room hang out outside with it’s kick-back chairs & pillows

Heard the cafe advertised on our local Nelson Bay community radio station a few months ago, and finally made it for brunch today. Wish we’d made the trip ages ago. Such a lovely cafe with several different “rooms” according to your mood – and it’s also dog friendly. We chose an outdoor table in the garden. I finally settled on the French Toast with bacon & maple syrup – DELICIOUS, and my husband chose poached eggs & bacon. The eggs were perfectly poached. We also had fresh orange juice and coffee. The coffee alone made the (very easy) 80 km drive worthwhile. Judy and her staff were very pleasant and friendly. We felt more like we were in their home than making our first visit to the cafe. The range of items on sale is extensive – the fragrant candles were particularly nice. If you’re looking for a gift from newborn to granny, they’ve got it!

We had a quick stopover through Stroud to Gloucester decided to grab some breakfast. What a beautiful place!! Lovely people. Happy smiling faces. Great service. Coffee was great & our breakie rolls were very tasty. Definitely returning again😊

I had the Dutch Apple Cake with real cream and ice cream. Lots of tender,, spiced apple with caramel sauce drizzled on top… delicious. A happy, life filled cafe yet with an air of discretion. Nooks and crannies to sit in. Lovely gardens too. Katharyn

The service was good , the coffee not so much, had a latte & it was bitter , not great when you’re having a sweet cake. My wife’s was the same , last time we went it was much better. Disappointing.
