We go here for lunch a fair bit. The takeaway is always nice. Cocktail fish egg and bacon rolls have been really nice .hubby loves their thick shakes and nice coffee. Tables at the side with lovely view are great to eat your lunch. Staff are friendly.

Had possibly some of the very worst service I’ve ever had.
Prices are way too expensive. $29 for a basic fish and chips.
Staff are uninspired and don’t seem to care about anyone they don’t know.
They stopped us from taking a table in the sun despite the fact it wasn’t busy or reserved.
They struggled to bring me a simple glass of water.
They refused to give my partner a single alcoholic beverage on the basis that she hadn’t eaten despite the fact we had 2 plates of very ordinary food on our table and she hadn’t had a single drink all day so was sober.
I left a facebook review and it was deleted without being addressed so I’ve decided to put one on here as well.

Avoid this place. Unless you’re keen on ordinary super expensive food and terrible customer service. View was nice.

The food tasted fine but took an hour to arrive to the table and only after we pointed out that 3 we tables had seated after us but were half way through their meals. We had a salmon and a lemon sole main. I found the lemon store to be soft rather than the parmesan crust advertised. The initial wait staff appeared disinterested. The room was so cold and it was only when we were leaving that we noticed that some customers had shawls provided by the restaurant. Overpriced for the visit

We just had coffee and scones with jam & cream as a group of 6. It was busy and they were in changeover mode from breakfast to lunch as it was 10:40am when we arrived. We didn’t have a booking, but we were quickly seated at a great table outside overlooking the river. Initially we were told that it was policy not to do coffee & cakes after 10:30 am as it was lunchtime fare after then and they usually put all the cakes, scones etc. away. Our waitress, who was bright and bubbly and engaging with our group went and asked if we could order the scones with jam and cream anyway and to our surprise and delight we were able to do so. We were quickly served with great coffee good scones, jam and cream and our group really enjoyed the ambience and river views as we chatted amongst ourselves and caught up with old friends in our group.
We have also been for breakfast and really enjoyed it as well. Good menu, friendly attentive staffs, good coffee and food and wonderful views…what else could one ask for? Great prices…yes they do those too. Coffee, Teas, scones x 3 with Jam and cream shared b/w 6 = $45 + a $5 tip for our waitress. Great. Would do it again. On our list for future get together with friends or just for 2.
