Bombah Point Eco Cottages

Our glass and timber cottages are architecturally designed to respect the natural environment and to celebrate the unique heritage of our surroundings. The sun-drenched living area provides spectacular 360 degree bush and valley views and each cottage is positioned discretely within the foliage to ensure privacy.

With polished timber floors and modern interiors, cottage appointments are both stylish and comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and settle in. Floor to ceiling glass doors open to the surrounding veranda and provide the perfect place to put your feet up and watch the sunset or retire to the hammock to listen to the birds. The main living area also offers a large wood-burning fireplace as well as a new television, DVD and CD player.

The kitchen is equipped to handle everything from sandwiches for a picnic to a gourmet meal of your own devising. Each cottage has stainless steel appliances and an outdoor gas BBQ.

Cottages comfortably accommodate 2 people with a large downstairs master bedroom. Extra guests can be accommodated in the upstairs loft with a double and single bed. One cottage is larger and suited to 4-6 guests. Each room comes supplied with all the comforts you could want to fully relax in this setting – thick, fluffy bathrobes, electic blankets and cozy doonas. Watching the dawn rise over the valley from the warmth of your bed is one of the great pleasures of staying with us!

Central to the spacious bathroom is an oversized spa bath that we hope will encourage our guests to unwind and enjoy their time at Bombah Point Eco Cottages.

We are a self catering retreat and have provided each cottage with all the tools and supplies necessary to create delicious meals. We have a limited quantity of kitchen “basics” that can be purchased, and special kitchen equipment in our communal building that can be provided on request.

Guests looking for a novel to read by the fire or a wildlife guidebook to identify the bird outside their bedroom need go no further than our central reception building and adjacent cabana. There is a comprehensive reading library of fiction and reference books and information on activities available in the local area. In addition, there is a collection of DVDs and CDs that are available for guests to borrow.

Less than 3 hours drive from Sydney, the Myall Lakes region feels like a magical escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Had a really lovely weekend away at Bombah Point! We arrived late at night and Duncan kindly met us at the cottage to show us the ropes. The cottage was perfect – everything we needed for a really comfortable stay. Really appreciated the electric blankets and daily firewood replenishment! We enjoyed the bathtub and games room, and were grateful for the amazing veggie garden to supplement our cooking. The location is lovely and remote while still being a close drive to so many beautiful places. Will be recommending to our friends! Thanks again!

What a place to stay for a few nights! The moment we drove through the gates, the tranquility set in and my heartbeat slowed down. The Eco Cottages are set within the bush, are nice and private, spacious, fully equipped and above all have real wood fires!

We attended a three day retreat and were treated to an amazing catering experience by the Bombah Team. Further – if you are into some Grade A permaculture and a sustainable, regenerative stay – there were a few features that Mollison would be jealous of. Free range chooks who laid the tastiest eggs, fresh veges and herbs straight from the Permy garden; fruit from the swale orchard and countless birds throughout the bush and surrounds.

Bombah also doubles as a wildlife refuge so a big “good on you” to Suzie, Duncan and Gail – keep up the good work and we will definitely be back.

(it was such a relaxing stay that I didn’t even get the phone out to take pictures)

This place is amazing. We had an amazing weekend here relaxing and recharging post wedding. They have thought of every think you could ever need, the accomodation exceeded any expectation we had from photos online and the property itself is fab fresh fruit and vege for you to eat.

Stayed there for 2 nights and it was a great experience. Away from hustle bustle of the city so it is very calming and relaxing being in touch with nature. The cottage was also beyond what we expected which was really nice and has great amenities. The host, Duncan was very friendly and accomodating. One of the highlights was picking fresh veggies, eggs and raspberries from The Garden. Highly recommended.
