New ghost tour at Copeland Tops SCA

Join the Mountain Maid Gold Mine Ghost Hunt!

A new ghost tour has been announced by NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service at Copeland near Gloucester. This is the only tour of its kind in NSW: a guided ghost tour in a heritage gold mine precinct hidden in a rainforest!

The inaugural tours on 15th and 16th January 2021 are being run by Newcastle Ghost Tours, taking ghost hunters into the Copeland Tops State Conservation Area after starting the ghost interrogation amongst gold mining artifacts at Gloucester Museum.

Then you’ll turn on your torches and walk into the darkened rainforest to explore the historic gold mining precinct around the Mountain Maid gold mine. Although you don’t enter the mine itself, you can peer down the entrance and listen in with bionic ear devices. Who may still be down there?
