Our followers are already planning their next visit to the Barrington Coast.
As travel restrictions ease further, a huge number of users across Barrington Coast social media channels are expressing their desire to visit the region. Last month saw comments to the Barrington Coast Facebook soar to over 5,000 and the start of June has seen an average of 123 comments per day flooding in.
While comments themselves are a good indicator of overall engagement with our Facebook page, it’s the language being used in them which is most exciting. Up to mid May most comments were inspirational reactions such as “Love it” or “Beautiful”. Following word of relaxed restrictions there was a distinct shift towards actionable sentiment with comments like “Let’s do it” and “Put it on the list” featuring heavily.
For the Destination Barrington Coast management team this is a clear indicator of visitors moving along the Customer Journey from the Awareness and Knowledge stages to the Consideration and Visit/Booking phases. This is supported by recent feedback from our accommodation operators across the Barrington Coast.
