Barrington Coast distillery makes it to the top 2 of all gins in Australia!
Drink Easy describes the awards as “egalitarian awards aimed at elevating collections of drinks that represent not only the notion of ‘high quality’ but the development and creativity found within their community.”
This latest accolade tops off a wonderful first year for The Farmer’s Wife Distillery at Allworth. In April 2019 their Autumn Dry gin won a silver medal at the prestigious London Spirits Competition 2019. Only two Australian gins were awarded Gold, both equal with 90 points and The Farmer’s Wife Autumn Dry Gin was the next highest with 84 points.
The Farmer’s Wife Autumn Dry Gin – Tasting notes from Drink Easy: “Wild thyme with smoky, dank, intensity. Pleasant, bright finger lime, juniper & cassia aromatics. The density of the oils is beautiful, smooth & lingering all the way to the finish. Great execution of a difficult style with an amazing level of intrigue. Cool. This is yummy as A.F.”
