Now recognised as one of the most exciting and inspirational women in rural business.
Donna Carrier, owner of Wingham’s Bent on Food and board member of Destination North Coast, has been singled out as one of 10 regional women to have her business showcased by Kochie’s Business Builders.
The announcement was part of the celebrations for International Rural Women’s Business Day 2019, a day to mark the invaluable contribution women make to rural regions across the globe.
Here in Australia, there are 275, 000 rural women running small businesses and Donna’s Bent On Food business is one of just 10 featured in the Regional Heroes campaign.
The cafe on Bent Street in Wingham is a local success story for the Barrington Coast, scooping up awards for its fabulous service and offerings. Bent On Food is a place where local produce is the hero and Carrier’s passion is ever-present.
