Cobark Lookout at Barrington Tops State Forest has had a makeover, offering visitors architect-designed facilities and a world class view.
The lookout is the first stop for visitors on their way across the Barrington Tops from Gloucester, so was a great candidate for an upgrade, said Forestry Corporation of NSW Tourism and Partnerships Manager Louise Faulkner.
“The site was previously a small verge with an older style picnic table, and now includes a nine-metrewide tallowwood deck, shaped hardwood seating and a wheelchair-friendly picnic table.

“The signage will include a map of experiences across Barrington Tops and tips on staying safe in State Forest,” Ms Faulkner said.
